The Strokes are gearing up for a major return to the road in 2026, unveiling a sweeping international tour tied to their upcoming album Reality Awaits. The trek begins in June and stretches through October, bringing the band across North America, the U.K., Europe, and Japan.

The ‘Reality Awaits’ tour follows a high-profile festival appearance at Coachella, as well as headlining sets at Primavera Sound in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, and Santiago, along with Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Japan’s Summer Sonic 2026 and more.

From there, the group launches into a full slate of arena and amphitheater dates, with standout stops at United Center, Merriweather Post Pavilion, and two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Additional U.S. shows include cities like Pasadena, Seattle, Tampa, and Charlotte, before closing the domestic leg with festival appearances at Shaky Knees and Sea.Hear.Now.

The band will continue on to Europe in the fall, appearing at major venues such as The O2, Accor Arena, and Ziggo Dome. Due to incredible fan demand, The Strokes further expanded their original run with two additional dates in South America, and a return to Mexico. The tour will see stops at Lima’s Estadio Universidad San Marcos on November 20th, Mexico City’s Corona Capital on November 22nd, and Bogotá’s Coliseo Medplus on December 2nd.

Supporting artists throughout the run will rotate, with talent including Thundercat, Cage the Elephant, Courtney Barnett, Hamilton Leithauser, Fat White Family, The Garden, Alex Cameron, Geordie Greep, Promiseland, and ÖLÜM performing on select dates.

The tour serves as support Reality Awaits, the band’s seventh studio album and first since 2020’s The New Abnormal. The record arrives June 26 and was created in Costa Rica alongside producer Rick Rubin, who described the sessions vividly: “We rented this house up on the top of a mountain and set the band up outside. So they’re playing… It’s like they’re doing a concert for the ocean, on the top of a mountain. It was incredible. And we did that every day, playing out in the [open], and they didn’t want to leave. It was, like, the best experience.”

The band recently previewed their upcoming album with the single “Going Shopping,” and also shared the track “Falling Out of Love.”
